    Campus Tour

Take a tour with Makaty, Wilson, and Carly!

In this video, we'll show you around the Noyes Building, Robert M. & Joyce S. Graham Science Center, Karen Huntsman Library, and other fun buildings and amenities on campus.

View 360-degree photos of our campus.

Hi, everyone. Welcome to Snow College. My name is Makaty Thorley and I'm going into Wildlife Management.

Hello, everyone. My name is Wilson Martinez, and I'm going into Aerospace Engineering.

And I'm Carly Arnoldson. I'm going into Accounting.

And we're so excited to show you Snow College's campus. Come on, let's get started!

Hi, guys. So this is the Noyes Building. So down on the bottom floor, we have math classes, as well as the math and science lab. So you can go there anytime to get help with any math or science questions you might have and the tutors, they're actually appointed by professors that have done well in their classes. And they also have the President's office as well as HR in this building.

So Snow was established at 1888, and this building was finished in 1905 and it was funded by eggs that were laid on Sunday of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints community that was here. And that's where we get a lot of the spirit of Snow of sacrifice. And that's why we have such a friendly community of students here that you can meet new people all the time, and they're always smiling waterways. So we're gonna go to the Science Building next.

This is the Science Building. And this is by far my favorite building. In here. We have a museum pretty much the first floor we have fossils and minerals. The second floor, we have animals. And then on the third floor, we have a technology museum. Another cool thing about this building is that we have a planetarium, the only Planetarium in between Provo and Las Vegas, so that's super sick. And another great thing about the building itself are the labs. The labs are equipped with state-of-the-art machinery so any class that you want to take, you're gonna have great equipment.

This is the Karen Huntsman Library. Here we have four floors. On the bottom floor. We have a computer lab, as well as printers that you can use for free. On the second floor is on library lobby. On our third floor, we have moving bookshelves with a variety of study areas, from sofas, tables, and on the fourth floor we have-- that's considered our quiet study area where a majority of group study goes on. Now we're going head over to the Eccles Performing Arts Center. Come on, let's go!

This is also the music building. So there's one half that's for music and the other half is for theater. On the music side, they have practice rooms in the back as well as a recording studio. And then in both of the auditoriums, they seat about 750 students each. They also are both equipped with sound clouds, which create different acoustical effects. So it can make it sound like a really small room or like you're outside. Snow is also an all-Steinway School, which has 49 regular pianos and a 50th grand piano that's nine feet long and sits in the concert hall. The theater program is also amazing. They do different productions throughout the entire year and have "LTI" which is "Let Them Improvise" and they do a show about every Friday, Saturday night for only $1. Next, we're gonna head to the athletic facilities.

This is the Bergeson Athletic Center. On the bottom floor. We have our weight room for athletes. On the top floor, we have a gym for older students, which is pretty cool to sit in. And we also have the offices for all the athletics staff, which is pretty cool. And this activity center is right next to the brand new stadium, which is our football field. Right across the street, we have our own activity center. And that's where we play in intramurals like soccer, basketball, and volleyball. We also have the eSports room, which is pretty cool. We also have the dance studio, where you can practice stuff like ballet, or just [inaudible]. Last but not least, we have the main gym. That's where we play volleyball and basketball games.

Behind me is the Humanities Building. In the Humanities Building, your English and art classes will be taken. One of my favorite things about the Humanities Building is that we have a writing lab here. This is where you can come and get free tutoring help on any writing assignments that you might have. Some of the art classes that are in this building are sculpture, 3D design, figure drawing, and jewelry making. Another fun thing about this building is that we actually have a radio broadcasting class where you can come and learn how to broadcast on the radio and actually be a DJ on Snow College's radio.

We're now here at the Greenwood Student Center also known as the "GSC." A variety of student life activities happen here. Some of my favorites are our Bedtime Breakfast, Soup Night, Bob Ross painting, and even Mardi Gras. These activities are all free as long as you have your student ID. Another thing that happens at the GSC is at the beginning of each semester we have a day called "Club Rush," where you can come and sign up for a variety of clubs. Some of my favorite clubs are the Hammocking Club and Western Swing. But there's also a variety of academic clubs such as Biology, Astronomy, Math, and Science Club. There's even a Croquet Club and Bluegrass Club. I'm sure there's a club just for you. But if you find that there's something more suitable for you, you can start your own club.

Starting at Snow, this is the building that you're going to want to come to whether it's to get enrolled, get your classes, pay any fees, look at on-campus housing, or just to get your schedule. The cafeteria is also located in this building as well as financial aid and scholarships. The class sizes are incredible. They're 16-to-one, and you're gonna get the personal attention that you need. An example of how amazing our professors are is this statue behind us was actually sculpted by one of the professors here Brad Taggart. With questions call the Admissions Office. We are so excited to see you on campus. Thank you!
